Controls & Automation Engineer

Compensation: $80K up to $130K salary depending on experience + employee benefits
Job Description:
As a Controls & Automation Engineer you will work as part of a project team assisting in design, development, documentation, implementation & commissioning of industrial automation control systems during the complete project life cycle.
Qualifications:
- Programming PLC (programmable logic control) Rockwell Automation/ Allen Bradley experience required
- DCS (distributed control systems) experience preferred
- HMI (human machine interface) systems experience required (Wonderware, FactoryTalk, Siemens, GE)
- Experience with developing plant floor information systems
- Experience with Process controls, Batch process, Industrial automation
- Experience preparing design drawings and specifications
- Experience with commissioning final systems at manufacturing facilities
- A general understanding of manufacturing processes are preferred
- Previous field or office work experience
- Undergraduate or graduate degrees in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science required
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of business application software (Microsoft Office Package)
- Must have be able to pass pre-employment drug and background screenings
- Must be able to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination upon their first day of employment
