MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Location:  Hartford, CT area

Shift:    1^st shift  (day time schedule)

Compensation:  $32 up to $38 hour, + Overtime + plus employee benefits

Maintenance Mechanic Job Description:

Performs scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and installation tasks on the physical plant, equipment and machinery including:  Production equipment, conveyors, belt changes, bearing replacement, pumps, motors, electrical drives, Electrical, PLC controls,  Industrial Equipment installations, alignment, start-up repairs, etc.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Performs assigned preventive maintenance tasks.
• Performs scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Strong Electronics background and experience in a production machinery environment
• Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown.
• Troubleshoots (when necessary). Repairs/replaces worn/defective parts, motors, control devices, etc.
• Operates machine shop equipment and makes required parts when necessary.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.

Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician and/or formal training or experience
• Experience with manufacturing machinery or foods production machinery is required
• Experience with production and manufacturing robotics troubleshooting and repair
• Experience with; Electrical, Mechanical, Motors, Drives, Bearing & Belt replacement, PLC, Automation & Pumps for production machinery
• Able to work 1^st shift position
• Must be commutable to the Hartford, CT
