Salary: $29 – $33 /hr + $1 shift differential

Shift:  3^rd shift – 6pm – 6am (overnight shift)

2 on  x  2 off  x  3 on schedule (36 hour schedule week 1 &  48 hour schedule week 2)

In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency. Performing preventative maintenance, electrical troubleshooting on equipment issues, and carrying out repairs to keep our production processes running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery to identify and address any potential issues or concerns.
• Promptly respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform repairs on machinery and equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Collaborate with the production team to develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and costs incurred.
• Perform mold changes as needed.
• Perform PM work on molds.
• Perform machining, milling, and metal fabrication.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing setting
• Production machinery for plastics industry preferred but not required
• Strong hands on electrical troubleshooting experience up to 480V
• Hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting experience
• Mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Proficient in conducting diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment.
• Experience with plastics blow molding operations (injection blow molding, extrusion blow molding, etc.) is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
• Able to work a 3^rd shift role with a 2on x 2off x 3on schedule.  Plant is open 24/7
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
• Must have your own basic hand tools
