We are hiring for a Mechanical Engineer in our Cincinnati, Ohio office. Minimum 8 years’ experience in mechanical consulting engineering required. Must have excellent written, communication and customer service skills. Will be interfacing with clients (both architectural and building owners). Perform engineering duties in development of the design of Mechanical Systems for various types of construction projects. Will function as lead mechanical engineer on most projects as well as project manager on specific projects based on experience. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who has dedicated their career to consulting engineering. The position involves Mechanical Engineering design and consulting to service the building design industry, focusing on heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC).
Candidates must have experience designing air distribution, hydronic heating and cooling, steam heating, dehumidification, and energy efficient systems. Comprehensive knowledge of Mechanical Building Codes is required.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited engineering program
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- Experienced in HVAC Design
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software
- Plumbing Design experience a plus
- AutoCAD/Revit skills a plus
