Position Type: 6 months – temp to hire

Location:  Waynesboro, PA area

Compensation:  $31 up to $36 hour (hourly plus overtime wages)

Job Functions:

• Assignments would be working at the direction of our customers mechanical engineering staff.
• May involve new product design, product improvements, Product revisions, manufacturing detail drawings and BOM’s.
• Utilize CAD software to design and detail components and systems to implement solutions.
• Prepare concept sketches, layouts, models, drawings, and BOM’s as required.
• Work with team Engineers to complete design reviews, FEA analysis, and system optimization efforts.
• Communicate with management and team members.

Requirements:   

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required in any (BSME, BSMET, BSEMET)
• Seeking Recent graduate or up to 5 years’ experience in Mechanical Design Engineering
• Experience with 3D Engineering software is required – Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor

• 2D AutoCAD is a plus but not required

• General knowledge of mechanical systems and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel required.
• Experience with manufacturing equipment will be helpful.
• Hands on mechanical experience preferred.
• This position will be working in-house at our customers facility near Waynesboro PA or  in-house at a client site a few miles away.
