Shift:  1^st shift is 6:00 am to 2:30pm Monday – Friday

Pay:  $27 up to $30 hourly + Overtime when applicable + employee benefits

The Tool and Die Technician is an experienced Machinist with experience making cutting and machine tools, jigs, and dies with a strong CNC and computer skills. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining complex tools, dies, and fixtures used in the production of precision parts. This role requires a strong understanding of CNC machining, computer-aided design (CAD), and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Development: Design and develop complex tools, dies, and fixtures using SolidWorks software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cimatron, MasterCam).
• CNC Machining: Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (e.g., milling, turning, grinding) to manufacture tools, dies, and fixtures.
• Tool and Die Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair existing tools, dies, and fixtures to ensure optimal performance.
• Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with production teams to resolve manufacturing issues, improve processes, and implement efficiency improvements.
• Quality Control: Inspect and test tools, dies, and fixtures to ensure they meet quality and precision standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tool and die designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Tool and Die Maker, with a focus on CNC machining and computer-aided design. – in a manufacturing setting
• CNC Skills: Proficient in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code) and experience with CNC machines (e.g., Leadwell with Fanuc Controls).
• Computer Skills: Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Cimatron) and experience with computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings

• Must speak English – Spanish is a plus
