Maintenance Technician

Location: Janesville, WI area + $10,000 relocation offered
Salary: $34/hour – $37/hour + Overtime + full employee benefits
Available shifts:
- 1st – 6:30am – 2:30pm
- 2nd – 2:30pm – 10:30pm + $1.50 shift differential
- 3rd – 10:30pm – 6:30am + $2.50 shift differential
This position is responsible for supporting the general and preventative maintenance efforts within the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Execute routine, preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment and support equipment.
- Identify problems and solutions on existing equipment; make suggestions/recommendations on components to be installed on new equipment and/or upgrades to assist in standardization of parts throughout the facility.
- Maintain work area in an organized fashion; ensure area is cleaned after each job is completed.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve the equipment’s reliability and maintainability.
- Documentation of maintenance (work orders, inventory control, etc.).
- Assist in the development of preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Direct repairs brought about by PM and condition monitoring (follow up work orders, procurement etc.).
Qualifications:
- Experienced with repairing/maintaining compacting powder metal presses (500 ton)
- Solid skills with: pneumatics and hydraulic systems preferred
- Hands on electrical troubleshooting experience
- Hands on mechanical troubleshooting experience
- Able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair control and non-control based production equipment.
- CNC maintenance experience
- PLC troubleshooting skill
- Metal binder jetting’s and metal injection mold equipment experience is a plus
- Re-bricking furnace experience is a plus
- General knowledge and hands on repair of furnaces is a plus
- Good communication skills
