Location: San Jose CA area (remote from home, based in CA or nearby bay area preferred)
Base salary: $150,000 + $7,500 bonus per each customer design order (Also, employee benefits package & travel )
Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying new business opportunities, cultivating strong customer relationships, and delivering against growth targets. In this role, you will play a key part in broadening our market reach and strengthening our position as an industry leader.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive BD strategy for the US market.
- Identify and qualify new leads and opportunities in target sectors.
- Conduct outbound outreach via phone, email, and social media.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and generate leads.
- Prepare regular reports on pipeline status, forecasts, and progress toward targets.
- Meet and exceed monthly KPIs for outreach, qualification, and pipeline development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics) or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development or Sales within the Motion Control / Factory Automation
- Proven ability to build strong relationships and close deals with mid-size to large enterprise customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Sales experience for projects with customers in any following industries; Semiconductor, Flat panel display, Electronics Board assembly
- Strong understanding of the US market landscape (Semiconductor, Laser, Lab Automation) and customer buying behavior.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable with high-volume outreach.
- Ability to quickly understand customer needs and articulate clear value propositions.
- Experience selling technical or engineered solutions.
- Existing network of contacts within the Semiconductor, Laser in Manufacturing, or Lab Automation industries.
- Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) and strong pipeline management skill
- Must be able to travel 50% of the time
