Pay: $31/hour +$3 shift differential  /  Overtime +  full employee benefits

2^nd shift:   Mon to Fri  2:30PM – 11PM

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic ll performs preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency maintenance on all production related equipment in the steel fabrication and assembly facility.

Responsibilities:

• Understand and comply with workplace safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual inspections, listening for irregular noises, changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, smells, and conduct troubleshooting and testing as appropriate.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and service for equipment.
• Perform emergency repairs on various types of machinery, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulics.
• Identify and replace worn or damaged parts in a timely manner.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, equipment manuals accurately.
• Work cooperatively with other staff, equipment operators and leadership.
• Participate in departmental, safety, and production meetings as necessary

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing maintenance role – required

• Experienced with the troubleshooting and repair of metal fabrication equipment such as: conveyor systems, presses, punch presses, turret punch machines, laser cutting equipment, shears, de-coilers and straighteners, automated drilling machines, welders, robotic systems, and hoist systems.

• Mechanical troubleshooting – hands on
• Electrical troubleshooting – hands on
• Pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Experienced in working with hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to read, interpret, manuals, schematics, and prints.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time and have physical requirements to regularly climb ladders and stairs, walking, kneeling, standing, squatting, twisting and bending for long periods of time.
• Must be dependable and reliable and available to work overtime as needed ..
• Works well with machine operators, maintenance team and leadership.
• Must speak English – Spanish is a plus
