Shift:   2^nd shift  (4:15pm to 2:45am,  Monday through Friday)

This position provides back-up technical support for maintenance manager and the production team. This is a hands-on job and requires extensive experience in mechanical, electrical and automation fundamentals in an industrial environment or field service role to be successful.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes and resolves production and facility challenges, or assists employees in solving production problems.
• Assists with organizing, coordinating, and implementing various sections of maintenance and engineering projects both large and small.
• Evaluates production processes for potential improvements in efficiency, ergonomics and safety.
• Schedules activities to observe priority of interest.
• Effectively communicates with production managements to determine when production related items should be addressed.
• Trains staff and provides feedback to the supervisor.
• Reviews and evaluates results of tests.
• Assists with maintaining computerized maintenance management work orders and assigns tasks as needed.
• Assists with maintaining crib inventory.
• Prepares reports on progress and recommends the addition, expansion or discontinuance of projects.
• Does all other duties as assigned including line/machinery set-up.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years working as a Maintenance Coordinator or Supervisor in an industrial environment
• Installing PLC experience  (preferred brand: Fanuc)
• Hands on electrical troubleshooting experience
  • Electrical proficiencies include but not limited to: First and foremost, working safely around electricity, knowledge of LOTO-Lock Out Tag Out, Ability to use electrical testing equipment for diagnosing issues on power circuits and or control circuits ranging from 480V three phase down to 24V AC/DC circuits and related devices like, variable frequency drives, contactors, solid state relays, temperature controllers, control and power switching contactors, all types of sensors used in automation, ability to read/understand electrical drawings- circuit diagrams
• Hands on mechanical troubleshooting experience
  • Mechanical proficiencies include but are not limited to the following: Inspecting and diagnosing-repairing deficiencies of mechanical drive systems like chain and sprocket, racks and pinions, timing belts and pneumatically driven actuators. Drive system alignment, motor and or gear box replacement and overhauls, bearing replacement, equipment overhauls for any and all production and or facility related machinery, equipment set up and or relocation, ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings required for repairs and or modifications.
• Welding experience (MIG-TIG) a plus
• General machining with mills and or lathes as needed for repairs.
• Work with Maintenance for equipment include: various conveyors for conveying belts, rollers etc.  Glass Washing machines, CNC cutting Tables, Fanuc 5 axis robots, CNC Shape Grinders, glass tempering furnaces. Industrial blowers ranging from 10 HP up to 300HP.
• Preforming preventative maintenance  on production equipment /  repairs as needed or assigned ( 2^nd shift does not currently run all equipment all of the time so repairs and or clean-up occur frequently on 2^nd shift).

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical drawings, electrical and mechanical schematics and procedure manuals
• Experienced in working with hand tools and power tools.
• Must be familiar with general industrial equipment
• Ability to understand trigonometry and geometry as necessary
• Proficiency in Standard Microsoft Office Applications
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time and have physical requirements to regularly climb ladders and stairs, walking, kneeling, standing, squatting, twisting and bending for long periods of time
